The Arthritis Foundation of Nebraska is honored to recognize Leslie Andersen as our 45th Woman of the Year.
Leslie is president and CEO of Bank of Bennington and an advisor to the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors. She also serves on the Corporation for American Banking Advisory Board and the Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board.
But amazing accomplishments in the financial industry are simply one outward expression of Leslie Andersen’s amazing inner light. In both talents and deeds she is truly a sky full of stars.
Over the years, Leslie has become a champion for individuals and communities throughout our region. She has served as chairman of the board for a number of institutions dedicated to improving lives, including the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Alegent Health, Immanuel Health Systems and Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. She has also found time to make meaningful contributions as a YMCA youth basketball coach, a Knights of Aksarben Councilor and a volunteer for Lasting Hope Recovery Center.
And even this list only begins to hint at the ways Leslie brightens all of our lives. Like stars on a clear night, her contributions are as countless. And so we are truly honored to name Leslie Andersen the Arthritis Foundation Woman of the Year.
